Lie-Nielsen Jack Plane #5 ½

The Jack plane #5 ½ is the heaviest in the series of Lie-Nielsen bench planes. The plane is as wide as the #7 but only two-thirds of the length. This makes the #5 ½ a comfortable and well-balanced plane! Ideal for working on wider surfaces.

The body is made of Ductile iron. The attachment for the plane blade is made of bronze, and, of course, this plane also comes with a Rockwell 60-62 A-2 steel plane blade. The plane is equipped with a knob that allows you to precisely adjust the depth of the blade. The handles are made of cherry wood, providing not only a warm appearance but also excellent grip!
