On Friday, May 15, 2026, Baptist Arnhem will open its doors during Ontdek IJsseloord 1: an inspiring day when companies on the business park showcase what they do. At Baptist, this day will be entirely dedicated to woodworking, craftsmanship, and inspiration.
For a long time, Baptist has been more than just a store. It is a meeting place for woodworkers — a place where knowledge is shared, workshops are organized, and wonderful new hobbies begin. We have welcomed so many wonderful customers over the years, and many valued, long-lasting relationships have grown from that. Experience this welcoming meeting place for yourself on May 15, 2026, and discover everything there is to enjoy at Baptist and across the rest of the business park!
Our goal? To inspire, inform, and enthuse. Together, we will make it a fantastic day.
What's happening at Baptist Arnhem?
In and around our store, our most well-known brands will be demonstrating their products — the perfect opportunity to discover the ins and outs of various tools and machines. Are you still unsure about purchasing a product, or would you like to learn more about a machine you have already bought? On this day, you can ask all your questions!
Our training space will be filled with mini-workshops and demonstrations by training centers and other craftspeople. There will be so many different woodworking techniques to experience! We will be woodturning, pyrography, woodcarving, furniture making, and much more.

What's happening at the business park?
More than 15 companies on the business park are participating in this open day. There will be something happening everywhere! From inspiring demonstrations and product presentations to mini-workshops and training sessions. Explore the business park during this vibrant day full of inspiration and enjoy food and drinks from the various food trucks.
Who is this event for?
For everyone! Whether you are a professional woodworker, a hobbyist, or completely new to the world of woodworking — you are very welcome. Come with friends, colleagues, family, or on your own; there is something for everyone to enjoy. There will be various activities for children as well, so you can turn it into a fun family outing.

Admission: Free! You are welcome to walk in anywhere throughout the day
Parking: Free in designated areas
Please note: On this day, the business park will be a low-traffic area. Parking at Baptist will not be possible. We kindly ask you to follow the directions of the traffic controllers and park your car in the designated areas. The business park is also easily accessible by public transport or by bicycle. Designated bicycle parking areas will be available as well.
