Lie-Nielsen produced this router plane with a blade width of 9.5 mm. This plane is highly suitable for relief work and wood joinery.
The blades of the Lie-Nielsen router plane have a rectangular shaft, keeping the blade securely in place.
The router plane features a depth adjustment, allowing you to determine the depth of your cuts accurately. The fine-adjustment knob enables precise adjustments.
The 'original' router plane #71 has an open front, providing a clear view of the wood. This second version has a closed front, which is particularly practical when working on the edges or corners of the wood, as the plane's body provides more support.
Use the two wooden knobs on the sides to guide the plane across the wood.
Includes a guide that can be used on both sides.
